Terms of Service

Effective date: 16 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProNet Monitor (the "App") and the associated services operated by ProNet Monitor ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your account

You sign in via Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your account with others or allow others to access it.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. What the App does

ProNet Monitor is a network-monitoring tool that, with your permission, collects information about the devices on your local network, your WiFi and connection history, your approximate location, and nearby Bluetooth devices. This data is stored on our private server and synced across the devices registered to your account. You control which features are active via Settings at all times.

4. Subscription & payment

The App offers paid subscription plans purchased through the Apple App Store and managed by Apple. Your purchase is subject to Apple's payment terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date in your Apple ID settings.
We do not see or store your payment details — Apple handles all billing.
All purchases are final; refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and only on networks and devices you own or are authorised to monitor. You must not:

Use the App to monitor devices, networks, or individuals without their knowledge and consent, where that consent is required by law.
Attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt our servers or any network connected to the App.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
Use the App to collect data for sale, resale, or distribution to third parties.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. By using the App you also agree to the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Data you generate

The monitoring data captured by the App (scan results, connection history, location logs) belongs to you. We store it on your behalf to provide the service. You can delete all of it at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its code are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial network monitoring. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or any of its components to you.

9. Third-party services

The App integrates with third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat, SendGrid, IP-lookup providers). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of those third parties.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Network monitoring data is informational only — it is not a security guarantee and should not be relied upon as a substitute for proper network security measures.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of data, network disruptions, or security incidents — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date above. If the changes are material, we will notify you via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
